You may want to include tutorials as part of a class session. Keep in mind that many of the tutorials contain audio. You may also consider having students watch tutorials on their own time before a relevant class session or as preparation for a relevant assignment. Tutorial links can be emailed, or posted to a website/course management page.
We encourage you to present tutorials to students in association with a relevant course assignment. Additionally, you may consider using our simple quizzes or developing quick quizzes for a tutorial or a group of tutorials so that students can demonstrate that they have absorbed the material covered.
If you choose to have your students view tutorials in class, you may have them listen to tutorials through headphones, or you may turn off the audio and turn on closed captioning instead. See the screenshot below indicating the location of the volume and closed captioning buttons.
